Mid Wales
- 12.92 hectares
- The sheme has been planted but not registered.
- 1,698 tonnes of CO2e over 65 years
- The scheme is located within Mid Wales in a secluded valley which is surrounded by commercial and native woodlands
This woodland creation project is composed of both native broadleaves and commercial conifers, specifically: 50% Sitka Spruce, 15% Douglas Fir, 10% Norway Spruce and 25% Native Broadleaf. The species are planted in groups and are surrounded by both existing woodland and grazed land. The topography varies considerably, from flat to very steep, and fits in fantastically with the local landscape design. The new woodland will further link up surrounding woodland areas providing great connectivity.
