Beautiful woodland creation project in mid-Wales, composed of both native broadleaves and commercial conifers, specifically: 50% Sitka Spruce, 15% Douglas Fir, 10% Norway Spruce and 25% Native Broadleaf.  These species are planted in groups and are surrounded by both existing woodland and grazed land, and as such the woodland is fully stock-proof to protect it from grazing.  The wider area land use is a mixture of woodland and farmland, with an abundance of wildlife within the locality. This project has been designed to further enhance this biodiversity, with a particular focus on conservation.
