2,164 tonnes of CO₂e (CS02)

North East Scotland

  • 15 hectares
  • 2,164 tonnes CO2e over 35 years
  • Conservation - inland and seabird shelter

A great opportunity to help develop a 15 hectare mixed broadleaved and conifer woodland creation scheme in a beautiful rural setting, lying close to the NE coast of Scotland in a well frequented tourist area.

The new woodland will be very easily accessed, having good tarred road right up to its edge and only a few miles from major trunk roads. The close proximity to Inverness provides a great opportunity to engage with local schools and the local community, whilst also promoting wildlife habitat connectivity and enhancing the already stunning local landscape. This project will also help to mitigate flooding in the local area, which is particularly susceptible to flash-flooding.
