  • Rare habitat expansion through low density montane native planting
  • Woodland will sequester almost 6,000 tonnes of CO2e over 50 years
  • The scheme will redevelop vegetation that can support a range of wildlife, including a variety of prey resource that can sustain local raptor species.

The project will plant a mix of native Rowan, Downy birch, Common alder and Hawthorn at an elevation above sea level of between 300-500m.
