CarbonStore, a UK leader in woodland carbon certification, unites those who are looking to sell Woodland Carbon units with companies that are keen to offset their carbon emissions, will be presenting an introduction for businesses looking to reach net zero through UK nature-based solutions in a free online webinar entitled Helping your business reach net zero through UK nature based solutions on 29th September, 10am.
The webinar will outline the fundamental principles of nature-based solutions, focusing particularly on woodland creation. Alex MacKinnon, Carbon Project Manager with years of experience as a Forest Manager will explain the processes involved for projects registered with the UK Land Carbon Registry.
David McCulloch, Head of CarbonStore who has 20 years’ experience in the financial sector will illustrate the significant benefits to an organisation’s Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) related efforts through a case study of carbon offsetting in Scotland.
