Trees, Nature and Net Zero: The Webinar that Answers Company’s Key Questions

This free webinar entitled ‘Helping your business reach net zero through UK nature based solutions’ which took place on 29th September, aims to help viewers understand how environmentally conscious companies can achieve net zero using nature-based solutions in the UK.

It outlines how nature-based solutions fulfil the fundamental principles of carbon offsetting and explains how, in practice, companies can engage with nature-based projects.

Finally, through the use of two case studies of carbon offsetting in Scotland, it illustrates the significant benefits nature-based projects bring to companies’ ESG and CSR related efforts.

Speakers include:

Chair: Stuart Pearson, Business Development Director for Tilhill and a Chartered Forester

Alex MacKinnon, Carbon Project Manager at CarbonStore: Alex outlines the core principles of carbon offsetting which the Woodland Carbon Code adheres to.

David McCulloch Head of CarbonStore: David explains the steps to buy carbon credits and present a case study to explain how nature-based solutions work in practice.

The event included a live Q&A session, if you have any questions about nature-based solutions or offsetting your residual carbon emissions, email info@carbonstoreuk.com.
